Manhattan retail and mail-order company has an immediate opening for an individual with strong knowledge of inventory control and purchase order systems.
The main aspect of this position entails managing inventory using the inventory database software system called Mas500. A major focus will be on improving operational efficiencies.
The following are some of the principal responsibilities of the position:
- Analyzing inventory movement
- Managing item replenishment requirements
- Preparing item and vendor performance reports
- Updating cost and retail price changes and adding items to the inventory system
- Auditing inventory data to identify erroneous entries in the inventory system
- Solving problems with data in the inventory system
- Preparing reports for management based on specified requirments
Qualifications include the following:
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience using inventory control software systems
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience using mas500 inventory modules
- Extremely detail-oriented, very organized, excellent communication skills
